Fancy building campervans before the summer rush? One of New Zealand's leading conversion companies, which fits out custom vans, rental fleets and commercial vehicles at its Auckland workshop, is hiring an entry-level to mid-level Campervan Builder on a 9-week full-time contract.
You would start at once and finish when the workshop shuts for Christmas on 23 December, with a Tuesday to Saturday week. Travellers and short-term workers can apply, and working holiday visa holders are welcome, which suits UK travellers on a gap year. There is genuine potential for the contract to become an ongoing full-time role, including visa sponsorship for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
- Make up and mount the cupboards, beds and other built-in pieces inside each van
- Line the walls, lay the floor and finish the interior
- Cut in windows and roof vents and add the extras
- Lend a hand wiring the 12V system
- Lend a hand with water and plumbing
- Build to the plans, templates and specs for each van
Requirements & Eligibility
- Ideally some time in joinery, cabinetry, furniture making, 12V electrical work, or building campervans, caravans or RVs (helpful, not essential)
- Hands-on and keen to learn
- Turns up on time and can be counted on, Tuesday to Saturday
- Cares about doing the job properly
