Software Engineer

Visa sponsorship

IT & Technology · Melbourne, VIC, Australia · Full-Time · $85,000 - $90,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Melbourne's tech scene is where this full-time Software Engineer post sits, inside a business that builds and looks after modern applications for real commercial needs. Much of the work spans several languages and stacks, and more of it each year leans towards artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Expect to sit down with stakeholders, turn what they need into designs, then ship software that is secure, dependable and quick. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate with suitable qualifications and experience. Applications close on 13 November 2026, so it is worth moving early if you have been coding in a UK team and fancy a change of scene.

Hiring managers here will look for proof of the AI work, so list the models you have trained, the LLM features you have shipped and the clouds you deploy to. You can put together a Melbourne machine-learning engineer CV with Build AI CV and keep the stack details tidy.
