Good with clippers and a straight line? An established barbershop team in Brisbane, Queensland is looking for a Barber with a minimum of 3 years' professional experience to cut for a varied client base.
Day to day you would do men's cuts, skin and taper fades, beard trims and styling, talk clients through what suits them and keep tools and stations clean and hygienic. There is coaching to keep your techniques current, service targets to work towards and a chance to take on more responsibility over time. Eligible candidates may be considered for visa sponsorship based on skills, experience and suitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide barbering services to a consistent, professional standard
- Cut men's hair, including skin and taper fades, trim beards and style and groom clients
- Discuss what each client wants, suggest suitable styles and make everyone feel welcome, building repeat custom
- Clean and prepare tools, equipment and your station, following hygiene and health and safety rules and presenting professionally
- Support your fellow barbers and the wider team
- Take part in training and coaching and bring new techniques and trends into your work
- Work towards agreed performance and service targets and share ideas that improve the client experience
- Take on leadership and extra responsibility when opportunities arise
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of professional barbering experience
- Practical experience in a commercial barbershop that you can demonstrate and verify
- Strong technical skill in men's cuts, fades, styling and beard grooming
- Good grasp of professional barbering standards and client service
- Communicates well and gets on with people
- Well presented and detail-focused
- Positive, team-minded, reliable and responsible
- Keen to keep training and developing skills
- Adapts to different client preferences and current trends
- Ambitious to progress in barbering, with a work history that supports your experience and the ability to meet applicable Australian employment requirements
