Fancy swapping the UK winter for a salon chair in New South Wales? A busy barbershop in the centre of Wagga Wagga is recruiting a Barber / Hairdresser to join its team of barbers, receptionists and managers.
Work in the chair is varied, with cuts and styling for men, women and children, from traditional to contemporary, plus wet shaves, beard styling and recommending hair care products. Appointment slots are generous rather than rushed, and there is ongoing training from industry leaders.
Full-time, part-time and casual positions are on offer, with flexible arrangements. The shop favours onshore candidates, but that is a preference rather than a requirement, and visa sponsorship is on offer for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Cut and style hair for men, women and children, from traditional to contemporary
- Carry out wet shaves and beard styling

Requirements & Eligibility
- A qualified barber or hairdresser (apprentices also considered) with salon experience
- Strong cutting skills in traditional and contemporary hairstyles
- Excellent attention to detail and smart personal presentation
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A positive, friendly and professional attitude with a willingness to learn
- Shaving skills would be advantageous but are not necessary
- Confidence moving between classic and modern hairstyles
