A Melbourne barbershop with a strong local reputation wants experienced Barbers to fill its chairs. You would be cutting, fading, shaping beards and grooming, chatting through what each client is after and making sure they leave sharp and happy to return.
The hours can be full-time, part-time or casual, depending on your experience and the shop's needs. Precision, a clean station and good timekeeping matter as much as technique. Sponsorship is available for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate. If you have built up a regular chair in a UK barbers, this one is worth a look.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional haircuts, fades and modern barbering services with accurate, consistent results
- Trim, shape and groom beards
- Discuss each client's preferences and suggest styles that suit them
- Give every client a friendly, professional experience and build long-term relationships
- Keep precision, presentation and workmanship at a high standard
- Keep stations and tools clean and hygienic in line with health, safety and hygiene procedures
- Run your appointments efficiently and stay current with barbering styles, techniques and trends
- Turn up reliably, work hard and help the team keep a positive shop atmosphere
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Barber
- Strong practical cutting and fading skills, with demonstrated beard grooming and styling experience
- Consistently delivers high-quality barbering results
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with a professional attitude and presentation
- Excellent attention to detail and a reliable, motivated approach committed to quality
- Happy working on your own or as part of a team
- Relevant barbering qualification or demonstrable industry experience
- Able to verify relevant qualifications, experience and trade capability
- Australian work rights or eligibility for an appropriate work visa
