Commercial fit-outs, doors, flooring and decking keep this Sydney carpentry crew busy on ongoing full-time projects around New South Wales. The business wants a Carpenter with genuine hands-on skill who can show the jobs they have done, not just the title they held.
You would fit skirting and architraves, hang commercial doors and hardware, lay floors and decks and take on general finishing work, measuring and fixing accurately from plans. Your own tools, reliable transport and a White Card are needed, as you will move between sites. If you have worked on UK commercial fit-outs, your experience is directly relevant.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out commercial carpentry across ongoing construction projects, including general carpentry and finishing work
- Complete interior fit-outs such as skirting boards and architraves
- Install commercial doors and associated hardware
- Lay decking and flooring to each project's specification
- Measure, cut, assemble and fix timber and other materials accurately, working from plans, dimensions and specs
- Use tools safely and skilfully and keep your work neat and consistent
- Follow site safety and workplace rules, cooperate with other trades and travel between sites across New South Wales as needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of practical, on-the-tools carpentry experience
- Commercial carpentry experience or other relevant construction background
- A genuine, verifiable employment or trade history, with practical carpentry skills you can demonstrate
- Your own general carpentry tools
- Reliable transport and willingness to travel between sites
- Current White Card
- A sound grasp of Australian construction practices and industry standards is desirable
- Must hold Australian work rights or be able to meet sponsorship requirements
- Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply, as are Pty Ltd companies and ABN holders with appropriate insurance
