Premium homes across New South Wales are the setting for this Carpenter job based in Sydney. Builders want experienced residential carpenters who can move between framing and structural timber, renovations, new builds and the fine finishing that high-end clients notice.
You would work from plans, measure and cut accurately, take charge of your own tasks on site and coordinate with builders and other trades. Bring your own standard tools and transport. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates, and your work history and qualifications will need to back up your skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver residential carpentry to a high professional standard
- Handle framing, structural timber and installation work on renovations and new builds
- Complete detailed finishing and fit-out
- Read construction plans and measurements, then measure, cut and install materials accurately
- Own your assigned tasks and site activities, working efficiently without losing quality
- Liaise with supervisors, builders and other trades and fix routine carpentry problems on site
- Keep tools and equipment in good condition, follow health and safety procedures and leave your work area clean and safe
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Carpenter with proven professional experience
- A relevant trade qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Verifiable residential carpentry experience, with a work history that clearly shows relevant trade work
- Evidence of employment or qualifications to support your application
- A current White Card
- A valid driver's licence, your own reliable transport and your own standard carpentry tools
- Strong hands-on knowledge of residential construction, including reading plans and following technical instructions
- Consistent attention to detail and quality
- Able to work on your own with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and professional habits, with good communication and teamwork
