Trade · Tauranga, New Zealand · Full-Time · $30/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
If you are happiest up a tree with a sound rigging plan, this one is worth reading. An established tree care crew in Tauranga has two openings for a Climbing Arborist, working on commercial, rural and residential properties.
Jobs run from routine pruning and reductions to technical removals and larger commercial projects, plus emergency callouts. You would choose the right climbing, rigging and dismantling method for each tree, read every site carefully, protect buildings and retained plants, and keep your gear and PPE in top order. Quality work and safe planning come first, and healthy trees are kept wherever practical. Sponsorship is available for suitable overseas applicants.
Your CV should name your Level 3 or Level 4 Arboriculture qualification, the removals you have rigged and your driving licence classes. Write a climbing and rigging arborist CV with Build AI CV so the technical side shows.
