Key Responsibilities
- Install, look after and fix electrical equipment, inspecting and testing it as required
- Examine systems, plant and facilities for faults or defects and put them right with the help of drawings, schematics and technical papers
- Record jobs and compliance details accurately
- Follow the electrical rules and safe work practices of each site
- Work alongside supervisors, project teams and other trades
- Deliver maintenance, shutdown and project tasks to standard, keeping electrical systems reliable and compliant
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised New Zealand Electrical Certification
- A history of qualified electrical work, industrial, infrastructure or mining included
- Practical skill in electrical maintenance and finding faults
- Knows electrical safety, compliance and site procedures well
- Comfortable interpreting electrical drawings and technical information
- Prepared to work in Queensland or Western Australia
- Prepared to do FIFO shutdown work in Western Australia where applicable
- Australian working rights or eligibility for an Australian work visa
- Candidates must be able to evidence their qualifications and relevant experience
