Concrete pours need solid formwork, and a Perth construction crew is looking for an experienced Formwork Carpenter to build it. The work covers setting up, fixing and stripping formwork, plus general carpentry, across a range of projects and changing site conditions.
You will need proven site experience, a careful approach to measuring and cutting, and your own tools and transport, as jobs can mean travelling between sites and sometimes working regionally. If you have done formwork on UK building sites, that experience is relevant here.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out formwork carpentry on a range of construction projects
- Set up, assemble and strip formwork structures
- Read construction drawings, plans and specifications, then measure, mark, cut and fix materials accurately
- Take on general carpentry and building tasks as needed, using hand and power tools safely
- Inspect your finished work for quality and accuracy
- Stick to site safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly
- Work alone or with the crew, travel between sites when required and adapt to each site's conditions and demands
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience as a Formwork Carpenter or All-Round Carpenter
- A relevant carpentry qualification or recognised trade certification is preferred
- Genuine, verifiable experience in the construction industry, including work on active sites
- White Card
- A current driver's licence is preferred
- Your own hand and power tools and reliable transport
- Able to work independently, with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail
- Willing to travel between construction sites and work in regional areas where required
- Able to meet applicable employment and sponsorship requirements
