Colour is the headline skill for this full-time Hairdresser job in a Sydney salon. Clients come in for balayage, creative colour and correction work as well as cuts and styling, so the salon needs someone with confident, up-to-date technique and real client results behind them.
You would consult with each client, tailor the colour and finish to them and keep your technical standard high from the first appointment to the last. Ongoing training, salon events and creative projects are part of the job. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate, and evidence of your salon experience will be asked for.

Key Responsibilities
- Cut, style and colour hair to a professional standard, including balayage and creative colour
- Carry out colour correction and corrective treatments
- Talk through each client's hair needs and create colour and styling that suits them
- Hold a consistent technical standard and give attentive, professional service
- Work alongside the rest of the salon team
- Take part in technical training and stay current with new trends and techniques
- Help with creative projects, events and salon activities
- Keep your station clean, tidy and professional
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of professional hairdressing experience
- Experience in a premium or high-end salon
- Proven technical skill in balayage and creative colour
- Colour correction experience
- Strong cutting and styling ability
- Confident in client consultations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional approach to client service
- Creative, with attention to detail
- Works well in a professional team and keen to keep building technical expertise
- Able to show evidence of professional experience and skills
