Maintenance Foreperson

Visa sponsorship

Construction · Blenheim, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Potholes, washouts and the odd stray animal on the road: roading maintenance is never dull. Blenheim needs a Maintenance Foreperson who leads from the front, organises a small crew and keeps a demanding road network safe and in good repair.

You would plan the daily work programme, drive the network to spot defects and hazards, record them on tablet and GPS systems and coordinate contractors. You would also share the on-call roster for emergencies and night-time incidents. Sponsorship is available for suitable international candidates.

On your CV, list the crews you have supervised, the road and civil work you know, your traffic management experience and your licence class. Add your roading crew supervision to a Build AI CV.
