Tired of cutting the same bracket all day? This Adelaide fabrication shop takes on one-off and custom jobs, so Metal Fabricators, Boilermakers and Welders get real variety: workshop builds in steel, aluminium and stainless, plus some installation work out on site.
It is a full-time job for tradespeople who like solving problems with their hands and take pride in tidy, accurate work. Overseas-qualified tradespeople are encouraged to apply, and candidates who meet the skill, qualification and experience requirements may be eligible for employer sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate one-off pieces in steel, aluminium and stainless to a high standard
- Turn shop drawings, plans and specs into finished work, deciding which process and weld suits each piece
- Run the shop's machines and hand tools without cutting corners on safety
- Head out for installs and field jobs when a project calls for it
- Find practical fixes when a job throws up a problem, and pull together with the project crew to land quality work on time
- Stay precise and tidy, and stick to health and safety rules on every task
- Pass on what you know and suggest better ways of working
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold a trade qualification in Metal Fabrication, Boilermaking, Welding or a similar field
- You have worked in professional fabrication and welding shops before
- You can point to solid technical ability and past projects
- You read engineering drawings with confidence
- You have handled several different metals and fabrication methods
- Quality, reliability and safety at work come first for you
- You are just as happy working on your own as with a crew
- You solve problems in a hands-on way with an eye for detail
- You are willing to work mostly in the workshop with occasional days on site
