Run a painting crew to a standard that clients notice? A painting firm that has worked on Western Australian homes and commercial buildings for more than 25 years wants a Painter & Decorator Team Leader in its Painting Division.
Painting and decorating experience on commercial construction jobs suits the role best. It is permanent and full-time around the Perth metro area, and you will need a track record of exceptionally high-quality work. The business prides itself on detail, finishing projects on time, specialty finishes and wallcoverings, and excellent customer relationships. Reporting to the Painting Manager, you would motivate the crew on numerous sites and help resolve problems. Sponsorship on a TSS482 visa may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer directly to the Painting Manager
- Keep the crew motivated and work alongside them on numerous sites
- Oversee projects and the people on them
- Find answers when problems crop up, or work through them with the Painting Manager for a good outcome
- Keep sites safe, in line with OSH policies, company procedures and induction manuals
- Check the finish closely so quality stays high
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade Certified Painter who must have completed an apprenticeship
- Proven time as a leading hand or 2IC
- Capable of managing projects and team members
- Strong communicator and well organised, with a keen eye for detail in quality control
- Can provide solutions to problems or partner with the Painting Manager for a positive outcome when issues come up
- Reads and understands project drawings, including floor plans and elevations
- Manual driver's license
- White card
- Subcontractors and ABN holders cannot be considered
- EWP and/or Working at Heights ticket (desirable)
- First Aid (desirable)
- Airless spraying experience (desirable)
- Current National Criminal History Check
