Key Responsibilities
- Help the crew with piling and foundation works on site
- Support concreting and steel fixing jobs
- Learn construction methods through supervised practical training and help operate machinery safely
- Work closely with supervisors and experienced crew, following site instructions, safety procedures and quality requirements
- Prepare and look after the tools and equipment needed each day
- Keep work areas tidy, organised and safe
- Show up reliably and work consistently well
- Build your construction skills on site, take on extra duties as you improve and work towards senior crew and team leadership responsibilities
Requirements & Eligibility
- Physically able to do manual construction work
- Reliable and committed to regular attendance
- Keen to learn new construction skills from experienced workmates
- Follows workplace instructions
- Works well in a team
- Previous labouring or construction experience is beneficial but not essential
- Experience with concreting, steel fixing, piling, or machinery is advantageous
- Open to on-the-job training
- Can provide genuine evidence of previous employment or relevant experience where applicable
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
