Key Responsibilities
- Cut, colour and style hair to a high standard
- Listen to each client, understand the result they want and recommend services that suit
- Create individual looks while keeping your technique precise
- Make every appointment polished and memorable so new and regular clients keep coming back
- Use professional haircare products, tools and equipment confidently and suggest suitable products to clients
- Stay current with emerging trends, techniques and industry practice through training and workshops
- Keep the salon clean, presentable and hygienic
- Work closely with the other stylists and coach junior team members
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised hairdressing qualification
- Experience as a Senior Stylist or in a role of equivalent seniority
- Strong hands-on skills in cutting, colouring and styling
- A track record of working in professional salons
- Evidence of your relevant qualifications and industry experience
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A professional approach to looking after clients
- Able to work on your own while playing your part in a team
- A real passion for hairdressing and a commitment to high-quality results
- Willing to mentor and support stylists who are still developing
- Committed to continued learning and building your skills
