Shotcreter

Visa sponsorship

Construction · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

A specialist ground support crew in Sydney has a permanent, full-time opening for a Senior Shotcreter. Most days you would be on the rig, getting surfaces ready and spraying to spec on ground stabilisation jobs, working right beside the anchoring and drilling teams.

Being the senior hand means owning the day's shotcrete work on your projects, keeping the finish consistent, maintaining equipment and showing newer crew how it is done. Site conditions shift, so good judgement and safe habits count as much as technique.

Note the ground support projects you have sprayed on, the rigs you operate and tickets such as your White Card or an MR licence, then prepare a Sydney ground-support shotcreter CV with Build AI CV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run shotcrete rigs and related equipment on specialist ground support work
  • Ready each surface and spray to the project specification, mixing and applying concrete with the right technique
  • Partner with the anchoring and drilling crews on ground engineering tasks
  • Be responsible for daily shotcrete work on your assigned projects, with steady quality and workmanship
  • Coach crew members in practical skills and keep safety front of mind across the operation
  • Look over equipment regularly and handle routine maintenance
  • Read changing site and environmental conditions and react sensibly, always inside the project's safety, quality and operating procedures
  • Support supervisors, operators and fellow site workers so projects run efficiently
