Fancy swapping the UK winter for a Brisbane workshop? A welding and fabrication business in Brisbane, Queensland, is taking on special class welders, boilermakers and pipefitters in full-time roles.
Welders will be working across GMAW (STT), FCAW and GTAW. Pipefitters assemble pipes, gaskets, valves and associated kit to a range of specifications. You'll be on stainless and carbon steel, working from drawings throughout.
The firm is after trade-qualified people who can lead, organise their work well, communicate clearly in conversation and bring a high level of technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out welds across GMAW (STT), FCAW and GTAW
- Assemble pipes, gaskets and valves to specification
- Fit associated equipment as each specification requires
- Work in stainless and carbon steel
- Read and interpret drawings
- Lead and organise work on the job
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade qualified
- Trade qualification preferred for pipefitters
- Professional welding and fabrication experience
- Pipe laying experience if you are applying as a pipefitter
- Experience in stainless and carbon steel
- Able to read and interpret drawings, with strong leadership, high-level technical knowledge, excellent planning and good verbal communication
- Australian work rights or sponsorship eligibility
