Swapping the UK winter for the green hills of Taranaki could suit an arborist who likes working outdoors. A national vegetation management company is recruiting a Utility Arborist for its New Plymouth branch in New Zealand.
The role is about keeping trees well clear of the power network. You will assess vegetation along and around powerlines, organise and coordinate the clearance work, and liaise with line crews, clients and property owners across the region. A safety-conscious mindset is essential to the way the team works.
Hours are 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, and overtime is optional. Training is on offer, with room to progress. The company is an accredited employer, so it can sponsor staff on New Zealand's Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).
