Automation Technician

Engineering · New Plymouth, New Zealand · Full-Time · $43 - $45/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Sparkies and controls techs weighing up a move abroad may want a look at this one. A New Zealand manufacturer is hiring an Automation Technician to get stuck into PLCs, control systems, diagnosing faults, plant improvements and automation projects.

It is a 45-hour week, Monday to Friday, and the working day normally begins at 7am. Seasoned automation people from across the employer's other sites are on hand, and there is a healthy amount of project work involving AI, robotics and advanced manufacturing.

Suitably qualified candidates already based in New Zealand are preferred, though experienced overseas applicants are positively encouraged. Accredited Employer Work Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Make sure your CV leads with your electrical qualification and the PLC platforms you have programmed. Build AI CV can help you get it sorted.
