Trade · Perth, WA, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
If you have served your time on a fab shop floor in Teesside or the Clyde and fancy swapping the British winter for Western Australia, this one is worth a read. A WA workforce company is recruiting qualified Boilermakers, Fabricators, Welders and Pipefitters to work with its clients across defence, rail, health, mining, oil and gas and civil construction, in and around Perth and in regional WA.
The jobs range from fabrication in the workshop to pipe spools and piping systems, TIG and flux-core welding, and heavy structural steel. You will work to drawings and work packs, take part in safety pre-starts and be expected to pass weld tests where they are asked for.
Sponsorship is available for this role.
Before you apply, bring your English CV up to date for an Australian reader. Name your trade certificate or apprenticeship, list the welding processes and materials you are coded on, and add any confined space or working at heights tickets. Get a spools-and-steelwork CV shipshape on Build AI CV.
