Swapping the UK winter for the Gold Coast is a real option if motors are your trade. A Queensland employer is recruiting qualified Electrical Fitters for full-time work on electric motors, rewinds and hazardous-area equipment, flameproof kit included.
Alongside the motor work, you would assemble and test electrical equipment, trace faults and take on industrial installation and maintenance jobs. Fitters from oil and gas, mining, construction or industrial maintenance are encouraged to apply, and anyone from a related industry can have a chat with the employer about whether they are suitable. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Eligibility
- Qualified Electrical Fitter
- Experience across electrical equipment assembly, fitting, testing and fault finding
- Experience with electric motor repairs, maintenance or rewinding, or with hazardous-area or flameproof equipment, and previous motor rewinding or flameproof experience is highly regarded
