CNC Machine Operator

Visa sponsorship

Manufacturing · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $35/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Setting up a tricky job and getting it right first time is the core of this CNC Machine Operator role in Christchurch. A precision engineering workshop wants CNC Machinists who can prove their hands-on skills on milling, turning and multi-axis work.

One-off parts, prototypes, short runs, large industrial components and repair or refurbishment jobs all come through the door, so no two weeks look alike. That means reading drawings closely, choosing tooling and workholding, proving out programs and making sound calls with little supervision. UK machinists from general engineering or toolroom work will feel at home.

Your CV should name the machines and controls you have set up, typical materials and tolerances and the kinds of parts you have produced. Set out a precision machinist CV for Christchurch with Build AI CV and you are ready to apply.
