Manufacturing

Factories and production sites across Australia and New Zealand need steady, skilled people, and this page lists those roles: machine operators, production workers, process technicians, quality inspectors, maintenance fitters, forklift drivers, packers, team leaders and production supervisors in food, packaging, metal, timber and building products.

If you have worked on a production line or in a warehouse in the UK, you already understand shift patterns, output targets and the importance of safe working. Say so plainly on your CV. Note the machines and equipment you have run, any forklift or other plant tickets you hold, your experience with quality control or lean methods, and the shifts you are happy to work. Short lists are easier for a busy site manager to read.

The advert will explain the hours, the type of contract and any licence or ticket needed to start. It will also say whether the employer offers visa sponsorship, which means it backs your work visa. Choose the sites and roles that match your hands-on skills.
