Community Services · Geraldton, WA, Australia · Full-Time · $40 - $42/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Good support work starts with routine and trust. A Geraldton family wants a Disability Support Worker for their young child, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and they are looking for someone patient, steady and genuinely person-centred.
Your shifts would fall in the daytime and after school, helping the participant build everyday living skills, communicate more easily and grow in confidence and independence. Following a Behaviour Support Plan, keeping clear notes and talking openly with the family are all part of the week. Eligible international applicants who can demonstrate relevant experience, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to disability support can be offered sponsorship.
On your CV, describe the young people you have supported, the behaviour plans you have worked to and your care training. Present your autism support and care plan experience on Build AI CV so the family can see it at a glance.
