Support Worker
Visa sponsorship
Community Services · Tauranga, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $30/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Good support work is built on trust, and this full-time Support Worker role in Tauranga needs someone the team can count on. You would be part of a 24/7 roster around a single, highly motivated client, helping with personal care and daily routines, getting to work, family and social commitments, and staying active and independent.
Shifts run across days, afternoons, evenings and overnight sleepovers, at roughly 35 hours a week, with at least two weekend shifts a month. Driving the client to appointments is part of the job, so a licence is essential. Overseas applicants who need an employer-supported work visa may be considered for sponsorship, subject to eligibility.
On your CV, note any disability or personal care work, your driving licence and any NZQA Health and Wellbeing study. Then tidy up a 24/7 disability support CV with Build AI CV and send it over.
