Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic

Visa sponsorship

Automotive · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $36 - $45/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Fancy a change from gritty MOT bays and depot yards? Heavy vehicle mechanics weighing up a move abroad could look at this one: an Auckland business run by a family, which keeps fleets on the road, has two vacancies for a Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic.

It is practical work on lorries and trailers, along with buses and lighter commercial vehicles, in a modern workshop that puts safety first. Expect at least 40 hours a week, plus a half-day on Saturdays that is rostered.

The employer is an Accredited Employer and helps with visa transfers, so sponsorship forms part of how it recruits.

Make sure your CV leads with your diesel qualification (or your years in the trade) and your Class 2 licence. Build AI CV can help you sort a mechanic CV.
