Automotive · Hamilton, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $40/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Swapping the UK winter for a workshop in New Zealand? An established transport company in Hamilton is looking for a Mechanic to join the hands-on team in its onsite workshop. It is a permanent, full-time post.
The workshop looks after the firm's own lorries, trailers and equipment, and the aim is to keep every vehicle safe, reliable and roadworthy. Expect a mix of planned servicing, repair jobs, fault diagnosis, inspections that show what is due next and some simple auto-electrical work. Careful, safe workmanship and a well-organised workshop are expected.
The company is an approved accredited employer with Immigration New Zealand (INZ), which means it can sponsor workers on the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), New Zealand's main employer-backed work visa.
Before you apply, bring your English CV up to date. Mention your qualification or mechanical experience, any HGV or trailer work and the diagnostic kit you know. Polish your mechanic CV with Build AI CV.
