Fancy swapping the UK winter for Brisbane sunshine? A progressive, well-regarded boutique accounting practice on the city fringe is recruiting a full-time Junior or Intermediate Accountant for its Tax & Business Services team.
The practice looks after accounting, taxation and business advisory work for a varied client list. Rather than timesheets or traditional targets, it works to fixed fees and measures itself on quality, efficiency and the results it delivers for clients. You'd work hand in hand with a Senior Manager, with ongoing mentoring as you broaden your experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare individual, company, trust and partnership income tax returns, along with BAS and financial statements
- Help with tax compliance and general business services
- Liaise with the ATO, ASIC and other relevant authorities
- Work alongside senior colleagues to produce quality work and excellent results for clients, building up tax planning and advisory experience as you progress
Requirements & Eligibility
- A minimum of 18 months' Australian public practice accounting experience, gained in Tax & Business Services
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting
- Currently studying towards the CA or CPA qualification, or keen to complete it
- Xero or similar accounting software experience, plus strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, a positive, motivated attitude and a genuine wish to keep progressing your accounting career
