Healthcare · Bairnsdale, VIC, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
Trained as both a midwife and a nurse, and fancy swapping the NHS rota for regional Australia? A hospital in Bairnsdale, Victoria, is recruiting a Registered Nurse / Midwife for its maternity unit.
You would provide continuity of care across antenatal clinics, the birth suite and the postnatal ward, so the women you look after see a familiar face throughout. The role also means managing obstetric emergencies and working with GP obstetricians in a shared care model. The hospital is baby-friendly accredited and its maternity ward is being enhanced.
It is a small, supportive team where your views count in day-to-day decisions, and professional development is on offer. International candidates with substantial maternity skills and experience are encouraged to apply, and the employer offers sponsorship for temporary and permanent visas.
