Community Services · Dunedin, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25.08 - $30.43/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only

Fancy swapping the UK winter for disability support work in the south of New Zealand? A trust near Dunedin that provides community living is recruiting full-time Support Workers for its Permanent Relief Team, on 40 hours a week.

The people you would support have learning disabilities, and the job is about helping them live fulfilling, independent lives in a safe, warm, homely setting. Relief work means a proper mix: earlies, afternoons, evenings, awake nights, split shifts and weekends. Person-centred care, inclusion and community connection sit at the heart of how the trust works.

Being an accredited employer, it's willing to sponsor AEWV applications from candidates with suitable experience and qualifications, and the post has been approved at skill level 4. You will need to be already in New Zealand with work rights to apply.

If you have worked as a carer or healthcare assistant, make that obvious on an up-to-date English CV, along with your driving licence and any health and wellbeing certificate. Get your relief support worker CV sorted with Build AI CV before applying.
