Know FMCG and retail, and enjoy dealing with independent stores? A growing FMCG business in Sydney wants a commercially driven Account Manager on a hybrid basis, someone motivated by sales growth and strong commercial relationships.
This is not just about looking after an existing book. You would grow current accounts, open new ones and play a real part in the company's expansion, with plenty of ownership and autonomy. As the business grows, the right person could move up into a Business Manager position. Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Look after and develop a portfolio of independent customers and key accounts, building long-term relationships
- Find ways to lift sales and grow existing accounts
- Open up new business opportunities
- Work closely with customers to understand what they need and spot commercial openings
- Track sales performance and hit agreed targets
- Share market and customer insights with the wider business
- Represent the brand professionally and take ownership of your territory and its results
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercially hungry, ambitious and proactive, with a hands-on way of working
- A background in FMCG, retail, wholesale, field sales or a similar environment
- A strong grasp of retail and how independent customers work
- Proven experience in account management, sales or business development
- A commercial mindset with a firm focus on growing sales
- Excellent skills in building relationships, communicating, negotiating and influencing
- Confidence in spotting opportunities and converting them into results
- Ambition to take your career to the next step
