Key Responsibilities
- Service vehicles and carry out scheduled maintenance, inspecting each car to see what it needs
- Inspect, repair and replace brake systems
- Repair and upgrade suspension
- Diagnose and repair general mechanical faults using the right tools and diagnostic equipment
- Complete repairs to a high standard, following workshop safety and operating procedures
- Explain faults and recommended repairs clearly to customers
- Work efficiently alone or alongside the workshop team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of relevant motor mechanic experience
- Automotive work history that can be shown and verified
- A relevant automotive trade qualification is preferred
- Strong practical servicing and mechanical repair skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Professional with customers
- Reliable, punctual and motivated, with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality
- Able to work on your own or in a team
- Willing to provide supporting evidence of qualifications and experience
