Automotive Spray Painter

Visa sponsorship

Automotive · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $30 - $40/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

A flawless clear coat starts long before the spray gun comes out. An Auckland paintshop has two permanent, full-time openings: an experienced Automotive Spray Painter and a Paintshop Prepper / Assistant.

If you are the painter, you will be judged on the gloss, the colour match and how quickly a car leaves the booth. The second job is for someone who enjoys the groundwork, getting panels sanded, masked and primed, whether you have done it before or are keen to learn and maybe start an apprenticeship later. Sponsorship is available for suitably qualified overseas candidates.

Bodyshop managers want to know what you have actually painted, so give real examples on your CV. Present your colour matching and blending skills on Build AI CV so they show clearly.
