Swapping the UK pub trade for Perth? An expanding hospitality group in Western Australia is recruiting a Bar Manager / Duty Manager for its bar and grill, on a full-time, long-term basis.
Think of it as running the show on your shifts. You'll organise the bar and venue, lead and train the bar and front-of-house team, keep service excellent, and take charge of stock, ordering, takings, and the opening and closing routine. Rostering, cost control and the venue's events and promotions are part of the mix as well.
They want someone motivated and professional with at least 3 years in a busy pub, tavern, bar or hospitality venue. Subclass 482 sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Organise the bar and venue on a day-to-day basis
- Lead, supervise and train the bar and front-of-house team
- Keep customer service excellent throughout every shift
- Take charge of stock control, ordering, inventory and cash management
- Carry out opening and closing procedures and keep to RSA, liquor licensing and workplace safety requirements
- Help with rostering, staff performance, cost control, and with functions, events and promotions
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years' relevant hospitality management or supervisory experience behind you
- Strong leadership, backed by strong communication skills
- Experience of working in a busy pub or tavern
- Current RSA certificate; WA Approved Manager accreditation or willingness to obtain it
- Happy to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Reliable and professional, and capable of working on your own initiative
