Duty Manager
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $35/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
If you have run shifts in a busy UK pub or hotel, this Duty Manager role in New Zealand is worth a look. A hospitality firm owns a hotel with a beer garden and a restaurant in a coastal town just outside Christchurch, and it is recruiting a permanent, full-time Duty Manager to cover both.
You would report to the venue manager and the general manager, take charge of the running of each site and head up the floor staff. Looking after the team and the table bookings is part of the job, as is keeping everything above board under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and the premises licences. Expect a lively, quick-fire role where the aim is a friendly, safe and well-run place for customers and colleagues. This can be a sponsorship role for the right candidate.
New Zealand licensing may be new to you, so let your CV show what you already know: licensed-premises experience, floor management and leading a team through a packed service. Update your UK pub and hotel CV with Build AI CV.
