Running a small branch means wearing every hat, from rosters to customer calls. One of Australia's largest independent automotive glass companies, serving retail, trade, fleet and insurance customers for over 30 years, wants a driven, hands-on Branch Manager for its established branch in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.
As the person in charge, you would lead a tight team of three (two qualified fitters plus one highly experienced leading hand) and balance running the business with leading people and serving customers, with senior management behind you all the way. A background in automotive workshops, retail management, trade operations or service is welcome. The employer holds approval under the Northern Territory Designated Area Migration Agreement (NT DAMA), and qualified visa holders already in Australia are actively welcomed.

Key Responsibilities
- Steer the branch's daily workflow, watch financial results against budget and keep things efficient
- Set rosters, coach the team, manage performance and keep the workshop culture positive
- Control inventory and stock, keep products on hand and get to know local suppliers
- Win more retail, fleet, insurance and trade work and look after customers on the phone and at the counter
- Uphold strict WHS, store security and tidy admin records, and help with basic glass fitting or repairs at busy times (training given on the job)
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven success in a role such as Retail Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager, Workshop Manager or Branch Manager
- Good at communicating, managing a team, reading the business and using computers
- A current valid driver's licence is mandatory

- For sponsored candidates: suitable management experience and relevant formal qualifications
- For sponsored candidates: NT DAMA eligibility and English proficiency
