Chef

Visa sponsorship

Hospitality · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $32/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Ready to run your own section? An Auckland kitchen has a Chef de Partie opening for a chef who takes the profession seriously, working alongside the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider team on preparation, service, stock and food quality.

You would handle the mise en place and running of your section, cook and plate international-style dishes to a high standard, and help with specials and seasonal menus. Receiving and rotating deliveries, watching stock and waste, keeping prep areas spotless and staying composed in busy services all matter, as does getting to know local New Zealand produce and working well in a multicultural team.

List the sections you have run, the cuisines you cook and any food safety training on your CV. Lay out a section-running chef de partie CV with Build AI CV and keep it focused.
