Proper locals' pubs need managers who know the regulars by name. This established community pub in Sydney's south-east, part of a larger hotel group, wants a hands-on, people-first Duty Manager.
Trade is steady across the bar, gaming, sport, events and guest rooms, and the group puts weight on good governance, clear standards and growing its leaders. You would own your shifts and work across front and back of house. It suits a seasoned Duty Manager or a senior supervisor ready for a bigger leadership job, with room to move up in the group. Sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities
- Run shifts across the bar, gaming, functions and guest rooms
- Handle opening, closing, cash and reports
- Help with functions, events, local marketing and in-house promotions
- Help with orders, stock and suppliers, and with rosters and labour planning
- Support compliance on RSA, RCG, gaming, WHS and food safety
- Coach the team and keep service and guest experience strong
- Keep the venue running smoothly when it is busy
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 1 year as a Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor
- Experience with gaming, TAB and KENO
- Current RSA, RCG and ARCG
- A strong leadership presence and good communication
- Calm, organised and focused on solutions, balancing service, people and compliance
- Back-of-house experience highly regarded; experience with functions, hotel rooms, inventory, rostering, compliance reporting and local marketing is favourable
