Key Responsibilities
- Turn out a broad mix of inventive dishes that look and taste superb, every service
- Help the Head Chef dream up new dishes and fine-tune the current ones
- Stick closely to hygiene and food safety law
- Look after your own section and keep the kitchen ticking over
- Coach younger cooks and turn up to team briefings and training
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years cooking as a Chef in a quick-paced, top-quality restaurant
- Culinary training, formal, or a hospitality qualification that fits
- Cooks to a very high level, with a sharp eye for detail and plating
- Knows hygiene and food safety practice inside out
- Works well with others and communicates clearly
- Loves cooking with seasonal, local ingredients
- Adapts and thrives when a busy kitchen is under pressure
- Keen to keep developing your cooking
