Italian cooking built on fresh pasta, seafood and whatever is in season drives the menu at this busy Perth restaurant. It is quality-focused, works as a professional brigade and wants an experienced Chef de Partie to take charge of a section.
From mise en place to the pass, the section would be yours. You would keep taste, plating and portions right when the covers climb, help newer cooks find their feet, and keep hygiene tight and waste low. Rosters can include breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus evenings, weekends and public holidays. Applicants who meet the required criteria may be considered for visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Run an allocated section from prep through to service, completing mise en place so it is ready
- Produce high-quality fresh pasta, seafood and seasonal produce dishes
- Cook consistently during high-volume service, keeping taste, presentation and portions excellent
- Back up fellow chefs and coach less experienced cooks
- Meet food safety, hygiene and cleanliness requirements, monitor prep standards and reduce waste
- Stick to kitchen procedures and recipes so standards hold
- Take rostered breakfast, lunch or dinner shifts, which can fall on evenings, weekends and public holidays
Requirements & Eligibility
- Has worked professionally as a Chef de Partie or in a comparable kitchen position
- Plenty of experience in high-volume commercial kitchens
- Experience cooking Italian-inspired food, including hands-on fresh pasta and seafood preparation
- Experience with fresh and seasonal produce
- Confident running an individual section
- Holds a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or has equivalent trade experience
- A good team player and communicator who stays organised, quick and composed when service is busy, and is professional about food quality, hygiene and workplace standards
- Available for nights and weekends
- Able to show proof of your qualifications and professional background
