Hospitality · Kalgoorlie, WA, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
A high-volume commercial kitchen in Kalgoorlie wants a Chef who stays calm when the tickets keep coming. Working alongside the Head Chef, you would cook and plate to the house standard, get mise en place done before service and keep your section in order until the last cover.
The menu runs across grill, pizza, pasta and desserts, so all-round experience helps. There is a leadership side too: guiding other kitchen staff, joining the daily briefing and running the kitchen when the Head Chef is off. A spell in regional Western Australia can be a good way to build Australian kitchen experience if you are coming from the UK.
Use your CV to set out the sections you have cooked, the covers your kitchens handled and any food safety certificates. Draft a grill-to-dessert chef CV for Kalgoorlie with Build AI CV ahead of applying.
