Key Responsibilities
- Cook creative, high-quality meals at pace, finishing prep and cooking tasks to a high standard
- Work with the Head Chef on new dishes and better versions of current ones
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic
- Look after guests well and respond quickly to their requests
- Help with stock and ordering
- Follow food safety and workplace health and safety rules
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years as a Chef/Cook in a similar hospitality setting
- Formal culinary training or qualifications, for example a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Knows food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety practice very well
- Manages time and juggles tasks in a busy kitchen, as part of a team with a positive culture
- Loves cooking great meals and making dining better
