You would cook across different sections and take over one when asked, prep and keep stock right, plate every dish to standard and follow the kitchen's systems and recipes. Food safety stays front of mind, and senior people help train juniors and suggest improvements. Eligible overseas applicants may be able to access employer sponsorship opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook well across a range of kitchen sections and run an assigned section when needed
- Prepare ingredients and keep stock at the right levels
- Present each dish to the expected quality and presentation standard, following kitchen systems, recipes and service procedures
- Keep food safety and hygiene high at all times
- Work at pace through busy services and help keep the kitchen coordinated
- Communicate clearly with fellow Chefs and front-of-house staff
- Help train and develop junior team members and put forward ideas to improve food quality and kitchen performance
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial cookery experience is preferred
- Apprentices, junior Chefs, qualified Chefs and senior Chefs can all apply; qualifications are desirable depending on the level of the position
- Solid knowledge of food preparation and how kitchen operations run, and real commitment to high food quality and presentation
- Understands food safety and hygiene procedures
- Copes well under pressure and can juggle several tasks
- Positive, hardworking and a good team player in a professional kitchen
- For experienced and senior-level applicants, leadership skills are preferred
