This is not a job that only counts years on paper. Reliability, practical skill and a real love of Italian food matter more, and both newer cooks and experienced hands may be considered. You would learn traditional techniques from an experienced team, giving you solid foundations for a career in Australian kitchens. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Italian dishes to the kitchen's standard, keeping taste, quality and presentation consistent
- Help make pasta, sauces and traditional dishes, and finish mise en place and daily prep
- Follow recipes, cooking methods and directions from senior chefs
- Work quickly and calmly through busy services
- Keep your station clean, tidy and hygienic and follow food safety and workplace safety rules
- Help teammates when needed and act on feedback to pick up new techniques
- Bring reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude to a respectful, productive kitchen
Requirements & Eligibility
- Some interest in or experience of commercial cooking, and a real love of Italian cuisine
- Consistent and reliable at work
- Strong work ethic and ready to take responsibility
- Follows instructions and learns from experienced chefs
- Practical kitchen skills suited to your experience level
- Earlier hospitality or kitchen experience is advantageous
- Good teamwork and communication
- Keen to grow professionally in the Australian hospitality industry
- Candidates from entry level to experienced may be considered
