Diesel Fitter
Visa sponsorship
Automotive · Brisbane, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · $60/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Excavators, cranes and piling rigs make up the fleet in this Diesel Fitter role in Brisbane, with a construction and engineering business that needs its plant kept reliable. Some days are spent servicing in the workshop; others start with a breakdown call and end with a machine back at work on site.
You will be expected to diagnose hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults with little supervision, replace failed components and test every repair before handing a machine back. Employer sponsorship is available for eligible overseas applicants. UK plant fitters who have looked after earthmoving or lifting gear will see a lot that is familiar.
On your CV, list the machine types and makes you have repaired, your trade qualification and the breakdown and field work you have done. Lay out a Brisbane heavy plant fitter CV with Build AI CV before you apply.
