Duty Manager
Onshore applicants only
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Nelson, New Zealand · Full-Time · $26 - $29/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Picture a waterfront restaurant and cafe near Nelson that seats up to 200, opens every day and swings from a flat-out summer to a calmer winter. It holds a liquor licence and wants someone to run its shifts who believes good systems are what make great service happen again and again.
When you are rostered on, the floor is yours: service, guests, the staff working that shift and keeping the place safe and legal as the licensee in charge. It is a permanent job of 30 hours a week or more, weekends and public holidays included. Applicants need the right to work in New Zealand. Being an accredited employer, the venue may be able to sponsor a work visa for the right person.
Hospitality leaders applying here should list their certificate, the covers they have managed and the till and booking systems they use. Before you apply, shape a Nelson waterfront duty manager CV with Build AI CV around those details.
