Packed bars and full dining areas are normal at this Sydney hospitality venue, and it is looking for a Duty Manager to be in charge on each shift. Staff will look to you for direction, and the venue relies on you to keep it safe, compliant and running to plan.
Expect to juggle staff, suppliers, unhappy customers and event nights, then sum it all up for management. This role is open to applicants who are already in Australia. Sponsorship is available for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the venue's daily operation and service standards, leading from the front
- Supervise staff, coordinate shifts and help with rosters, training and performance development
- Monitor customer satisfaction and handle complaints well
- Manage stock control, inventory checks and supply orders
- Meet health and safety, venue and licensing requirements
- Help plan promotions, functions and special events
- Review sales, staff performance and customer feedback, report to management and act quickly on operational problems
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated professional experience in hospitality supervision or management
- Good practical knowledge of venue and bar operations
- Proven leadership, including managing hospitality teams
- Strong customer service, communication and people skills
- Sound decisions in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Experience with stock management and basic financial duties
- Available for evenings, weekends and flexible hospitality shifts
- Relevant hospitality or management qualifications are desirable
- Current onshore status in Australia
- Genuine, verifiable evidence of relevant work experience
