Perth's healthcare company behind this post is Western Australian owned and covers in-home care, Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) services and community nursing. It also places skilled nurses in residential aged care homes and hospitals around the city.
It wants experienced, qualified Enrolled Nurses for permanent full-time roles. You would report to the Clinical Care Manager, work under Registered Nurse supervision and be sent to different sites across Perth, from the CBD to both sides of the river. Key Responsibilities
- Work out, plan and carry through each patient's care with an RN overseeing you, and help track how well it is working
- Hand out medicines and keep watch on how people react
- Take part in teaching patients about their health
- Give personal care such as help with washing, and assist RNs during procedures and assessments
- Write up clinical records carefully
- Keep to Work Health and Safety rules and infection control, flagging any incident or hazard without delay
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold current AHPRA registration
- Nursing qualification that is relevant for an Enrolled Nurse
- Background in both community nursing and home care
- Minimum one year's full-time experience in a similar role
- National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check, both current
- Manual Handling Certificate, kept current
- Driver's licence that is valid
- Up-to-date COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
- Infection Control certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
