General Manager

Visa sponsorship

Hospitality · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

Opening a premium Italian restaurant in Sydney takes someone who can build the whole operation, and that is the brief for this General Manager job. You would design the front-of-house structure and service flow, recruit and train the opening team, write the SOPs and set the standards the venue runs on.

The commercial side matters just as much, with rosters, labour costs, purchasing, supplier deals and the beverage offer across wine, spirits and cocktails, including GP, pricing and margins. You would stay hands-on during service while keeping an eye on the numbers. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

If you have opened or run busy restaurants in the UK, set out the venues you led, the teams you built and the beverage results you managed, then frame a Sydney restaurant opening general manager CV with Build AI CV.
